A4: Yes! All students who sign up now may switch back to face to face lessons after 4th May 2020. Just highlight to us when you wish to do so.
Q5: Are online classes less effective than face to face classes?
A5: Face to face classes provide a different experience from online classes, for sure. Nevertheless, online classes can be equally effective if conducted professionally. The use of virtual whiteboard, screen share functions, digitised notes, and real time feedback, can address key learning needs and complement home based learning. In fact, QE has many international students who have been having online classes and score distinctions in their exams.
Q6: Who will be conducting the online classes?
A6: Lessons will be conducted by Junior, Senior, or Examiners.
Junior tutors – graduates from top IB schools like ACS and SJI, with stellar grades (IB 43+). Many of whom are ex QE tutees who have been cherry picked to join our teaching team. Having first hand experience in both the IB and QE courses, they offer invaluable support to students and share a proven formula for success.
Senior tutors – Graduates, current, and ex school teachers with minimum 5 years experience and bachelors’ degree with top honours.
Examiners – IB & IGCSE examiners who have been teaching their entire careers and consistently rank top among their colleagues. They have experience marking IB papers and know exactly what examiners are looking out for. Students who need pinpoint help for exam skills, answering techniques, and focused drills, often benefit the most.
Q7: Why must QE go online?
A7: With many of our students coming from international schools around the world, QE has been conducting online lessons since 2014. The COVID19 situation has led us to convert all classes online, which is well within our capabilities considering the above. We believe our robust online education experiences and technical expertise will provide effective solutions for all students.
